Meditation 14

The morning person

Catches the sun peeking out

From the horizon

What a special sight

No matter the location

Behold and give thanks

Illuminated

The sky is a gradient

From blue to purple

I remember now

What meaning life has to me

To cherish moments

They are transient

But they make it all worth it

A little heaven

Who am I to say

A fool with a camera

A wannabe poet

I pick up my gear

And I head back for the car

A moment preserved
