Meditation 25

The bright white streaked sky

A blue deeper than onyx

Meets the tops of trees

The birds chirp above

From their homes among the oaks

Singing a sweet song

Ponds teeming with life

Become lakes become oceans

Perspective changes

In between the reeds

The waters ebb and they flow

Taking me with them

Lost in the woodland

Between the rivers and pines

I find contentment
