At the ocean’s edge
I hike along the cliffside
Taking in the view
Familiar setting
I have been here once before
Though then all alone
An experience
To live here in this moment
Now with my loved ones
Land of rock and pine
Of stone faces and tree trunks
Pristine and untouched
Every step taken
A memory for old age
Of friends and nature
