Observations of

Autumn in Acadia

From behind a lens

Sunrise at Sand Beach

Quiet before the tourists

Peaceful and serene

Down by the ocean

Find the remnants left behind

A gift from the tide

Then there are flowers

Growing between cracks of rock

Strength despite hardship

A kaleidoscope

Decorating the Bubbles

Like service awards

A celebration

One final show of color

Before the winter

Jewel of the North East

Like a sapphire in the crown

Of the nation’s parks
